Crime Stoppers Week aims to increase awareness of Crime Stoppers across the community. This year the focus is on drugs, arson and theft. It is also the 25th anniversary of Crime Stoppers in Tasmania.
The launch was held at Parliament House and attended by the Hon. Elise Archer MP, Attorney-General of Tasmania and the Hon. Michael Ferguson MP, Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management.
Community leaders including Master Wang attended the function on invitation in order to highlight the occasion and further increase community awareness of this organisation which keeps people safe.
