On invitation, the Academy attended the Premier’s Olympic Team Appeal Dinner to fundraise for Tasmanian athletes heading to Tokyo 2020 – a night highlighting the Olympic spirit of excellence, respect, and support.
To lend a helping hand, Master Wang presented a cheque to Mr Anthony Edwards, President of the Tasmanian Olympic Council and Mr Paul Fallon, Chair of Tasmanian Olympic Council Fundraising Committee; they gifted Master Wang Rio 2016 Olympic blazer in gratitude, signed by the Australian Olympic Team.
In his speech, Master Wang emphasised the shared values of peace and harmony, demonstrating the parallels between Buddhist and Olympic ideals. Wishing our athletes a victorious Games!
