    Legacy TAS visits Lions & Devas

    An honour to host some very inquisitive and lively ladies from Legacy Tasmania on 18 April 2018. Some members of the Academy accompanied the ladies around the Two Guardian Lions and Four Great Heavenly Devas, and explained to them the significance of the stone statues from a cultural and Buddhist perspective. The exclusive tour was in response to a request for a tour of the site of the proposed Cultural Park. #Lion #Deva #Tour

    On 11 March, 23 students from the Chinese Students and Scholars Association Tasmanian Branch visited the Two Guardian Stone Lions and Four Great Heavenly Devas. Many of the students are currently still studying at the University of Tasmania.     三月十一日,塔州大學之中國學生學者聯誼會組織而來的23人,造訪澳大利亞塔州中國文化公園。這是塔大中國學聯與本佛學院首先合作,主要是讓在塔州大學留學的大學生能夠一睹這地球南邊的四大天王和鎮寺石獅。 到訪的大學生對每一尊聖像的表法都饒有興趣,樂於聽聞澳大利亞塔州中國文化公園對於推廣塔州中國文化的作用。他們用手輕輕的觸摸,祈願與聖像達到靈性溝通,為學業、事業帶來吉利,讓佛陀的智慧加被充盈。 #CSSA #Lion #Deva #Statue

    Gr5/6 from Campania District School visits Guardian Lions and Heavenly Devas

    On 20 March 2017, Grade 5/6 students from Campania District School visited the site of the proposed Tasmanian Chinese Cultural Park of Australia as part of their studies on Chinese culture at school.
