Blessing ceremony at Hejos

The Academy was very honoured to be asked by the owners of Hejo to perform a special blessing ceremony, at the site of their restaurant in Hobart. As part of the ceremony, Master Wang performed a blessing ritual, which was followed by the lion dance. The lion dance is a Chinese tradition performed at festivals and specials occasions, such as Chinese New Year. It symbolises good fortune as it is believed that the lion is an auspicious animal of great power and energy.
