Celebrating Christmas with the local communities

December calls for Christmas celebrations, and this year's is no different. The Academy was delighted to join with the local community in events marking the commencement of the Christmas festivities. On 4 December, the Academy's lion dance team was invited to perform as part of the City of Hobart's 'Santa in Town' event at Mawson Place.

Two weeks later on 18 December, the team joined with the Campania community in their annual 'Santa in the Park' Christmas event, delighting Santa and kids alike with a few of their dance moves!
