With the festive season in full swing, many townships throughout Tasmania host Christmas parades to bring out the best of community spirit.
Continuing on from the Hobart, Brighton and New Norfolk Christmas Parades, the Academy once again took part in the Oatlands Christmas parade. Locals, tourists and the like gathered on the streets of the historical town to watch over twenty floats pass, each demonstrating unique creativity and vast festivity spirit.

On the 18th December, the Academy was very honoured to have taken part in the much-anticipated annual Carols by Candlelight, held at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, organised by ExitLeft Productions. On 16th December, members from TCBAA participated in the 27th Annual Oatlands Christmas Pageant. Held in the city centre of the historic township, it was a delight to see so many people, young and old, lining the streets. Spectators cheered and exchanged seasons greetings as the floats passed.
