The Academy has been a long supporter of the Rotary Club of Sandy Bay for many years, and it was once again a great honour to join with many rotarians and their guests at the annual World Peace and Understanding Dinner, held at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania on 26 February 2018. During the evening, local rotarians, as well as guests representing many different nationalities and professions gathered to listen to the community work and contributions that the Rotary Club had completed over past year. In particular, the guest speaker - a local rotarian - spoke of his work in Nepal, helping to improve water sanitation in local communities. A truly inspiring night!
