On the 18th December, the Academy was very honoured to have taken part in the much-anticipated annual Carols by Candlelight, held at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, organised by ExitLeft Productions. As the sun set over the hills of Hobart, the Candlelight Choir sang our Buddhist song, Light of the Universe, spreading a sense of tranquility, before the sounds of the drum resonated as the lions danced. With an incredible crowd of over 10,000 people, the atmosphere was excitable and festive as people sung their way past twilight, and a special appearance by Mr. Jimmy Giggle enlivened all. We thank Ian and Melita from ExitLeft Productions and Exitleft Performance Academy for your invitation to be a part of this year’s event—it was truly an amazing experience!
