On 10th December, it was a great privilege for members from Tasmanian Chinese Buddhist Academy of Australia, led by Master Wang, to participate in the Brighton Community Christmas Parade yesterday. With the aim of engaging youth and expanding the community spirit, it was a delight to see the local community, both young and old, line the streets of Brighton as they cheered on the others who donned various costumes to parade the streets of their community.
We thank the Brighton community for their invitation, and their acceptance of both the Chinese and Buddhist cultural values.
