With the festive season in full swing, many townships throughout Tasmania host Christmas parades to bring out the best of community spirit. Continuing on from the Hobart, Brighton and New Norfolk Christmas Parades, the Academy once again took part in the Oatlands Christmas parade. Locals, tourists and the like gathered on the streets of the historical town to watch over twenty floats pass, each demonstrating unique creativity and vast festivity spirit. Apart from the Holy Tantra Lions, for first time this year, the Academy brought the Holy Tantra Dragon, as well as various Chinese cultural displays to the Oatlands Christmas parade.
